“We’re really pleased with the work Dan recently completed in our drawing room. It’s a big Georgian-era space, and we wanted to make it a special focal point. It was apparent that over the years a host of lacquers and waxes had been smeared onto the floorboards and a small section of the room had the older floorboards replaced with more modern equivalents, which were a different width and shade to the others. Dan replaced the new wood with reclaimed period boards, and repaired, sanded and treated the whole floor. I was expecting mess, and a layer of dust around the rest of the house, but Dan’s care and attention to detail meant there wasn’t any.”
